Tait Fletcher

Tait Fletcher is founder and head trainer at Undisputed Fitness. He began his career in Martial Arts in 1999 with the dog brothers stick fighting fraternity before earning his purple belt in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu with Gracie Barra (the largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in the world, originating in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). In 2005 he placed in both his weight class, and in the open division of the Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships (the largest Jiu-Jitsu competition in North America). Tait was awarded his brown belt in the 10th Planet system by Eddie Bravo in 2007. He received his black belt in 2009 by Gracie Barra instructor Renato Migliaccio.

For several years Tait was a personal bodyguard to Joe Rogan (who is also a Jiu-Jitsu brown belt) while working as a head trainer at Legends MMA, a premier mixed martial arts training camp and fitness center in Hollywood, CA (co-owned by Randy Couture and Bas Rutten). Most famously, Tait was a UFC contestant on Season 3 of Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter. He currently holds his own professional MMA record of 5-2, while coaching professional fighters out of both Jackson’s MMA, and Undisputed Fitness in Santa Fe, NM. Tait is also a Certified Level 1 CrossFit instructor, as well as a certified personal fitness trainer.

Renato Migliaccio

Renato Migliaccio is a decorated martial artist, holding black belts in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (under the late Ryan Gracie). Migliaccio has fought for M-1 Global, RINGS, and King of the Cage promotions. Renato has competed in the ADCC, Grapplers Quest, and the 2007 Pan American Games. He currently is a member of the M-1 Team USA East under the M-1 Mixfight promotion and trains MMA with Greg Jackson in Albuquerque, NM.

Renato has now brought his world class knowledge of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Undisputed Fitness and is currently the head Jiu Jitsu trainer for the gym.

Ben Sandoval

ben sandovalBen Sandoval runs the youth program at Undisputed. He has been teaching youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 8 years. Ben has been a practicing Jiu Jitsu player since 1999 and was recently awarded his brown belt from Professor Migliaccio. Ben has competed throughout the country and continues to lead his team into competitions through the year. As a proficient grappler and father himself, Ben serves as both a great instructor, and role model. The kids get a great workout, have fun and in the process they learn to re-focus their energy in a positive and safe environment. We aim to develop discipline, respect, honor and commitment while teaching your children self defense and the joy of grappling.

Henry Martinez

Henry Martinez is the primary Jiu Jitsu instructor at Undisputed Fitness. Henry’s career as an athlete started in wrestling at the age of 3 for his father’s junior wrestling team in Espanola, New Mexico. During his wrestling career, Henry has competed in thousands of wrestling matches around the world. He has acquired many titles over the years in Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. Henry attended Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas and the University of Oklahoma on a wrestling scholarship. Henry’s Jiu Jitsu career started at age 14 when he took up training with Alberto Crane at the Brazilain Jiu Jitsu Academy in Santa Fe, NM. Over the years he has trained with different people which has helped him develop his Jiu Jitsu game into what it is today. He was awarded his brown belt in BJJ by Tait Fletcher and his brown belt in Gaidoujitsu by world famous trainer, Greg Jackson. In addition to teaching BJJ, Henry is also pursuing a career in M.M.A. He holds a professional record of 5-1-0. He has competed for several different fight promotions including Bellator Fighting Championships. Henry also trains at Jackson’s/Winklejohn’s M.M.A in Albuquerque, NM alongside some of the biggest names in the fight business today.

Luis Castillo

Luis Castillo is the youngest instructor at Undisputed Fitness. Luis began training martial arts at Undisputed at the age of 14 and began instructing in the early part of 2010. He is one of Undisputed’s bilingual instructors and specializes in boxing, kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Luis is currently holds a blue belt in BJJ and frequently competes in tournaments. He dreams of becoming a world champion grappler and MMA fighter. As fierce competitor himself he believes in hard work and emphasizes that in his classes.
